Fr. Jason Brooks was ordained a priest with the Legionaries of Christ on November 25, 2004. A native of Milwaukee, Fr. Jason spent part of his college days on the gridiron where he played football at Ripon College in Wisconsin. Before entering the seminary in 1994, he was studying biology and planning to become a high school teacher and football coach. He also spent some time at the college radio station, where he hosted a weekly, classic rock show. After serving in various capacities in Chicago for six years after his ordination, Fr. Jason moved to Atlanta where he served as the Chaplain of Holy Spirit Preparatory School and Parochial Vicar at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church. Fr. Jason arrived in Detroit in the spring of 2017 and is currently serving as the Chaplain of the Regnum Christi Locality. He resides at the Legionary house in Michigan.
